# Adult Content Guidelines

Tebex is committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and professional environment for all users and creators—including both individual creators and game studios. As the **Merchant of Record**, we are legally responsible for the content sold through our platform and must ensure that it complies with global standards, industry regulations, and our Acceptable Use Policy (specifically Section 1.3).

To maintain platform integrity, **adult content is strictly prohibited on Tebex**. This guide outlines what is considered adult or inappropriate content, why these rules matter, and how to stay compliant when building your monetized projects.

### Why These Guidelines Exist

These rules are in place to:

* Protect all users—especially minors—from explicit or inappropriate content
* Ensure compliance with payment processors and international laws
* Preserve a professional platform experience for creators, studios, and buyers alike

### What Counts as Adult Content?

Adult content refers to any material that is **Not Safe For Work (NSFW)** or unsuitable for minors or general audiences. This includes, but is not limited to:

#### Extreme Violence or Gore

* Graphic depictions of dismemberment, torture, or excessive blood
* Realistic visual portrayals that glorify violence

#### Nudity

* Exposed sensitive areas (regardless of character species or realism)
* Pixelated or censored nudity
* Transparent or sheer clothing that reveals sensitive areas

#### Sexualized Content

* Sexual acts or suggestive poses
* Items associated with fetish or sexual behavior (e.g., sex toys, bondage outfits)
* Descriptions, names, or visuals implying sexual activity

#### Profanity

* Excessive swearing or vulgarity in product names, descriptions, or images
* Slurs or offensive language targeting protected groups

### A Visual Guide to Nudity Restrictions

Tebex evaluates images holistically. Content is considered **inappropriate** if it:

* Features characters (human or non-human) wearing **insufficient clothing**
* Uses **semi-transparent outfits** that draw attention to sensitive areas
* Depicts avatars in suggestive or compromising positions

> ⚠️ If you're unsure, err on the side of caution or contact our Content & Safety team.

### What's Allowed?

We encourage creative freedom—but within safe, professional boundaries. Here are some examples of what’s **acceptable**:

* Lore-friendly cosmetics, costumes, or custom skins that are fully clothed
* Horror or action themes that avoid realistic gore or dismemberment
* Language that reflects your community’s tone, as long as it doesn’t violate our profanity or harassment rules

> Studios working on mature themes must ensure **storefront content (descriptions, visuals, etc.)** is always suitable for general audiences, even if in-game content includes mature ratings.

### Responsibilities for Creators and Studios

As a Tebex Creator, you are responsible for:

* Verifying all content you upload is compliant with these guidelines
* Removing or editing any flagged content when notified
* Moderating user-submitted material (e.g. uploads, screenshots) if applicable

Failure to comply may result in:

* Removal of individual items or packages
* Temporary or permanent suspension of your store or account
* Delays in project approval or payment processing

***

### How to Stay Compliant

* Avoid using **real-world adult brands**, adult toys, or real adult references
* When showcasing character models or avatars, ensure appropriate attire
* Double-check your **storefront banners**, **product thumbnails**, and **video previews**
* Use tools like **Google SafeSearch** or content filters to verify image safety
