1. Platform Fee
Tebex applies a platform fee on each transaction:
Standard Rate: 5% of the transaction amount
FiveM-Specific Rate: 15% of the transaction amount
This fee is deducted from the transaction before the funds are deposited into your Tebex Wallet. The Platform Fee supports ongoing platform development, customer support, expanded payment infrastructure, and Seller Protection services.

2. Gateway Fees
Gateway Fees are charged by third-party payment providers such as PayPal, iDeal, and Klarna. These fees vary based on the payment method selected by the customer.
The fee is deducted before funds reach your Tebex Wallet.
Tebex does not profit from these fees.
In some cases (e.g. PayPal), Tebex negotiates preferential rates:
PayPal via Tebex: 2.49% + $0.40 (vs 3.49% + $0.49 standard rate)
You can choose which payment methods to accept via Payments > Payment Methods in your dashboard.
See full gateway fee list here →
3. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Most creators are covered under Tebex Seller Protection, meaning:
No chargeback fees
You keep the revenue, even if the dispute is lost
Tebex handles dispute management
If a transaction is not eligible for Seller Protection, you will be notified by email. In such cases:
A $20 chargeback fee and the transaction amount are withheld during dispute resolution.
If the dispute is lost, those funds are not returned.
See Section 7 of the Creator Agreement for eligibility →
4. Refunds
When a refund is issued:
The original transaction amount and the Gateway Fee are charged from your Tebex Wallet.
Example:
Original payment: $5.00
Gateway Fee: $0.20
Total cost on refund: $5.00 + $0.20 (original) + $0.20 (refund fee) = $5.40
5. Creator Codes
When using Creator Codes to pay influencers:
An additional 1% fee of the total payment is applied.
This covers the payout distribution and processing to influencers.
This fee is deducted before payout to either the creator or influencer.
6. Withdrawals
Withdrawal fees depend on your chosen method, currency, and destination country.
A 2.00% foreign exchange fee applies if you withdraw in a different currency than your Wallet’s currency.
Rejected/returned withdrawals will still incur the withdrawal fee, so double-check your details before requesting.
