Store Transfers

We have put together this guide to help in transferring your store ownership to somebody else.

Before completing the steps outlined below, the owner of the account that you wish to transfer your store to must have completed ID Verification. They can do this by heading to ‘https://accounts.tebex.io/profile’ and selecting ‘Get Started’ on the Identity Verification.

Additionally, you cannot transfer a store that is connected to a wallet. Before following the steps below, you will need to reach out to our Payments & Compliance team from the email address associated with the wallet so that they can unlink it. You can contact them on [e-mail].

Here are the steps to transfer store ownership:

1. Go to https://creator.tebex.io/projects and log in to your account.

2. Find the project for which you want to transfer ownership and click ‘Login’.

3. Click on the "Transfer" button as highlighted in the image below to go to the ‘Transfer Ownership’ page and begin the ownership transfer process.

   
4. Enter the email address of the new owner in the box shown in the image below. This email must be associated with an existing Tebex account.

5. Now you and the new owner will receive confirmation emails regarding the store transfer. Click the link in the confirmation email to confirm the webstore transfer. The new owner will also have to confirm via email.

   
6. Once both of the links in the confirmation emails have been clicked, head back to the ‘Transfer Ownership’ page and confirm for a final time that you would like to transfer the webstore to a new owner.
