Mollie is a gateway which supports iDeal, Paysafecard, SOFORT Banking and card and bank transfers. Please note that the Mollie payment gateway only supports the EUR currency. If your webstore is in another currency other than EUR you may experience issues.
This guide is only applicable to stores which are not using Tebex Checkout - the modern, more secure and official payment gateway of the Tebex platform.

Create A Mollie Account

To create a Mollie account head over to their website to get started - it only takes a few minutes.

Setup Mollie On Your Tebex Store

    Go to Payments > Payment Gateways in your Tebex Control Panel.

    Click Create Payment Gateway.

    Click the Create Mollie Gateway button.

    Enter the following options to setup Mollie:

    Mollie API Key - Enter your Mollie API key which you can find within your Mollie Control Panel.
Once you have entered the above information, click create, and Mollie will now be live on your store!

Questions Regarding Difficulties Accepting Payments and Chargebacks

Gateway Support

For all third-party gateways that we support on the legacy platform, you are required to manage and maintain your merchant account yourself. This means Tebex is not able to assist you with enquiries such as why a particular customer was declined, your merchant account fees or similar. For all such questions, you will need to contact the gateway provider directly.


For chargebacks that occur on these third-party gateways, you will need to collect and provide the relevant evidence yourself as Tebex does not handle your chargebacks on your behalf. Please also ensure that you are aware of any fees you may incur as the merchant if a chargeback occurs, a common figure in the industry is $20 USD per chargeback you receive, but you should make sure you are aware of these potential costs before setting up your gateway.
