The Visibility option under Webstore > Appearance can:
Hide your store from public view.
Only allow specific IP Addresses to access your store.
Unhide / 'republish' your store.
To hide your store from public view, click 'Configure' next to Visibility on the Webstore > Appearance page and then enable the option 'Prevent my webstore from being accessible by the public' and click 'Update'.
To only allow specific IP Addresses to access your store, click 'Configure' next to Visibility on the Webstore > Appearance page, then click into the 'Allowed IP Addresses' box - in there you can type any number of IPv4 addresses (separated by commas) - only the IPs you specify will be able to access your store.
As you can see in the example below, we've specified 192.168.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 as example IP addresses allowed to access our store. They're typed in the box like this: 192.168.1.1,8.8.8.8 - as long as you're separating each address with a comma, this will work fine.
When you've finished specifying allowed IP addresses, enable the 'Prevent my webstore from being accessible by the public' option and then click 'Update' to start the restrictions.
To unhide or 'republish' your store, click 'Configure' next to Visibility on the Webstore > Appearance page, then disable the option 'Prevent my webstore from being accessible by the public', afterwards click 'Update' and the change will go through to make your store visible to all once again.
